  • UTC format of “Start:” and “Finish:” ISO 8601 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8601

  • transponder fields with transponder number to enable data import into Racemap

    • Option 1: insert Chip-Codes to every participant: fill in “Transponder1” in field "Transponder1" (default)

    • Option 2: match participants with chipfile: fill in "TransponderInChipFile" in field "Transponder1"

RaceNr, Firstname, Lastname and (Club) as forwarded data from r|r in the participant list

Visibility of participants in tracking map: To import a participant to Racemap, Simple API must provide the parameters: ID, RaceNr, Transponder1, Firstname, Contest and Visibility. If one parameter is missing the specific participant won't be pulled to Racemap. In other words participants without transponder number are not displayed in the participant list of the tracking map.

Use Custom Field for Tracking Keys and Color Settings

Use the "Custom" field in r|r Simple API » "Racemap Access" to automatically import a color and a tracking key for your tracking map. You can also define a color or a tracking key only.

[Color]&";"&[TrackingKey]

Deploy Tracking Keys for Online Application

Tracking keys enable GPS live tracking through Racemap App for a specific tracking map. Use Racemap tracking keys in r|r 11 e.g. to sell live tracking directly in online application form.

sell and provide Racemap tracking keys automatically in online application

Create Racemap Tracking Keys

Create and download tracking keys for your tracking map in Racemap backend. Racemap tracking keys always belong to one specific tracking map. A specific key is not usable for another tracking map.

Integrate Tracking Keys into Online Registration in r|r 11:

  • r|r 11 » Main Window » Participants

  • use "Additional Yes/No Fields"

  • add checkbox field e.g. "Agree to Live-Tracking".

  • checkbox not required when matching a Tracking Key to every participant of your event

optional checkbox to let participants agree to your live tracking

Match Tracking Keys with Participants:

Main Window » User Defined Fields/Fct

User Defined Fields/Fcts: insert tracking keys and link to checkbox

field "TrackingKey":

iif[AYN1]=1;switch([Bib]>0 AND [Bib]<500;[TrackingKey_1];
[Bib]>500 AND [Bib]<1000;[TrackingKey_2]; ... ;
[Bib]>xxxx AND [Bib]<xxxx;[TrackingKey_n]);"")

"iff[AYN1]=1"-function: whether participant checked Live Tracking ("AYN1" - "Additional Yes/No Field" 1 - "Agree to Live-Tracking")

  • if yes: one tracking key matched to participant

  • if no: no tracking key matched to participant

field "TrackingKey_1":

  • up to 500 tracking keys fit into one user defined field

  • for more participants set up a 2nd field with tracking keys "TrackingKey_2"

  • insert tracking keys with the following format

choose([Bib];"xxxxxx";"xxxxxx";"xxxxxx")

Visibility of participants in tracking map: Case - Your Tracking Map is set up for GPS live tracking with tracking keys (not for Predictive Tracking). To import a participant to Racemap, Simple API must provide the parameters: ID, RaceNr, Transponder1, Firstname, Contest, Visibility and a tracking key. If one parameter is missed the participant won't be pulled to Racemap. In other words, participants without a tracking key are not displayed in the participant list of the map.

Color depending on Gender

set the color of the marker in the tracking map depending in the gender

"translate"-function: set the first color ("#F2F2F2") for female and the second color ("#000000") for male

translate([gender];"#F2F2F2";"#000000")

Color depending on Contest

"switch"-function. In this example there are two contests ("Contest1" and "Contest2"). With "ContestName" in [brackets] you get the contest name. If ContestName of a participant is equal to "Contest1" the color is "F2F2F2". If ContestName is equal to "Contest2" the color will be "#04B404".

switch([ContestName]="Contest1";"#F2F2F2";[ContestName]="Contest2";"#04B404")
